RESTORATIVE YIN
Restorative Yin Yoga aims to calm the nervous system and release tension in the body and mind. We accomplish this through the use of props, hands on assists, and stillness. Long passive holds allow us to bypass the muscles so that we can nourish the deeper tissues of the body such as fascia, joints, and ligaments. The mind benefits from the meditative and introspective nature of this practice.
Restorative Yin Yoga is made up of floor-based postures held for 5-7 minutes. Each class includes the support of props such as blocks, blankets, bolsters, straps, and sandbags along with the option to receive hands on assists. Yoga props allow for gentle support and the opportunity to adjust your level of sensation. Hands on assists allow for deeper expression of postures and encourage the body to let go of held tension.
Restorative Yin is the yoga class you didn't know you needed.
SOFT TO STRONG FLOW

QIGONG

Harmonizing body, btreath, and mind through movement, static poses, engagement, and relaxation. Exploring awareness and energy from multiple traditions. Practice is done mostly standing and accessible to all.
PILATES FUSION
A pilates class that integrates the 5 basic principles of STOTT Pilates; a contemporary approach to the original 'Contrology’ created by Joseph Pilates, with flexibility, strength training, toning, full range of motion movement patterns while incorporating small equipment. Using tubing, hand weights, stability balls, balance boards, each other, foam rollers, fitness rings, cardio drills, and more. This class can adapt to the beginner thru advanced exerciser that focuses on concentration, control, and core. These are the three C’s that encompass the main focus areas of the original Pilates exercise program developed by Joseph Pilates.
We have fun challenging the 3 C’s, working together to support mechanical imbalances of the spine, diaphragmatic breathing, and more importantly working within our own fitness levels. The more we concentrate on the muscles we are working with control and core stabilization, the more we gain strength, increase our spine health, and improve our well-being.
